Welcome to the site of the Thalidomide Memorial

This website is hosted, as a means of bringing the permanent and lasting Thalidomide Memorial — sited at Alexandra Gardens, Cathays Park, Cardiff, South Wales, United Kingdom — to a wider global audience.

The information found on our pages is designed to allow the creation of a record of tributes which mark the lives and achievements of Thalidomide impaired people primarily (but not exclusively) in the United Kingdom.

The site also aims to remember Thalidomide babies and adults, parents and loved ones who sadly did not survive to live a long, full and active life.

Lastly the site aims to honour those who worked to secure justice for the people touched by the tragedy.

We invite families and friends to submit tributes to their loved ones. All tributes are reviewed before publication and will remain on this site permanently.
